happy second birthday, stella kate

Stella's second birthday party was so much fun! She is currently obsessed with all things mermaid, so a mermaid pool party seemed necessary. She had a blast swimming with her little besties. I've linked all of the party supplies and outfits at the bottom of the post.

These turkey + cheese star sandwiches were cut with a star cookie cutter, easy and festive!

For the mermaid tail cupcakes I cut tails out of mint glitter paper and tape to toothpicks, then inserted them into the bottoms of ice cream cones.

Blue Hawaiian: Pineapple Juice, Rum + Blue Curacao

Mermaid Mix: Pink goldfish, pretzels + chex.

Fact: the more children you have, the harder family photos become.

The sweetest macrame swing from Adelisa Co. from my grandparents.

This Sophia the First card from my parents was one of Stella's favorite gifts, lol. The wings on Maximus flutter as it sings, it's from Target!

Watching these cousins grow up together is my favorite.

Stella's actual birthday was Tuesday, the 13th and she woke up to donuts + balloons.  Daddy put her new tricycle together that my parents got her and she surprisingly learned to ride it quickly. We partied all day including finally giving her the little playhouse we've been working on. It's not completely finished, but the details are linked below for everyone who has asked. It was such a fun and magical few days celebrating our Stella girl.

Stella + Harlow's Shared Room Tour

I am so excited to share my girls' nursery/toddler room! I wanted to create a whimsical and girly space, using bright pops of color so it always felt happy. I love how it turned out and I hope you do too! I have shared bits and pieces on instagram, but I tried my best to tag everything here, so hopefully that answers all of your questions.
I can't wait to see my girls grow with their room, and the idea of late night sister slumber parties makes me so excited :)
